I am a rose breeder of long standing as I worked when I left school at breeding roses for the top rose breeder in the World, Sam Mc Gredy of Portadown when I was 18 I am now a young 83.
I am now breeding roses myself and have a very good Hybrid Tea red that shows great promise.It bears more flowers than any other in the same class, 21 in one flush on a 2 year old seedling, the original plant. I have also discovered a new hybrid tea with absolutely no thorns, what a prize, but as yet I have only one plant and it will take me 3 years to bulk up enough to start to sell it, you can book your order now for 3 years hence. I am grow all my roses on their own roots, this eliminates the risk of suckers and also shortens the growing time the growing time from 3 years to one year.
This allows me to shorten the price from an average of 24 euros to just 5 euros each for plants which are of better quality than the dearer ones. Added to this we give advise that enable you to grow roses free of "ALL DISEASES", a marvelous advantage.We stock 10,000 bushes in 500 varieties ranging from some that go back to my father's time and others that are up to the minute.
We also stock a wide range of other plants and sundries, if we don't have them in stock we can locate them for you. If you have a problem please bring a sample for me to diagnose or if there is a particular plant you want to me identify bring a piece if possible.
